Kapiti trains cancelled after crashed car lands near tracks

All trains have been cancelled on a stretch of the Kapiti rail line after a car rolled down a bank and landed near the tracks in Paekakariki.

A Metlink spokesperson said all services north and south are terminated between Plimmerton and Paekakariki.

Buses and shuttles are being arranged to transport passengers between these stations.

Commuters are being told to expect delays.

Police are at the crash.
