Auckland City Police have serious concerns for the whereabouts of Shoshone Anne-Marie Love, 18, who has special needs and the intellectual age of a seven year-old.
Shoshone moved to Auckland from Christchurch with her caregiver last Thursday, but left the Avondale house she was staying at in the early hours of of the following morning.
Police say Shoshone, a Maori, does not know her way around Auckland, has no personal possessions with her, has no money and no means of contacting family or friends.
She appears to be in good physical health, is short (150cm) and of solid build. She has brown medium-length hair with a blonde fringe.
When last seen she was wearing grey checked pants, a white singlet and a grey zipped hoodie with a red pattern on the back and a front panel. She was barefoot when she left the Avondale address.
