KEY POINTS:
Labour has made a small gain in the latest opinion poll but still trails National by 13 points.
The New Zealand Morgan poll published today shows Labour up one point to 35 per cent support and National unchanged on 48 per cent.
That is roughly in line with other recent polls, although there have been erratic results over the last few weeks and some have shown Labour closing the gap.
Labour's support in today's poll of 758 voters, conducted between November 12 and 25, is well below its 2005 election result of 41.1 per cent.
National is nearly 9 per cent up on its election night 39.1 per cent.
The poll showed the Green Party vote down one point to 6.5 per cent and New Zealand First slipping half a point to 5 per cent.
The Maori Party was unchanged at 2.5 per cent, ACT was up half a point to 1.5 per cent and United Future lost half a point to 0.5 per cent.
