The Maori Party caucus is hoping it has left the internal rancour of last year behind it following its first caucus meeting of the year.
All five MPs met in Auckland yesterday to "reconnect" following the fall-out of Hone Harawira's infamous email rant against Pakeha last year.
It is the first time the full caucus has met since then. Party whip Te Ururoa Flavell acknowledged the year had been bruising and relationships damaged.
