Maori language week: Take te reo to the game

In the latest of our daily list of phrases to mark Maori Language Week, we look at a few useful rugby lines.

2. All Blacks vs Springboks. (Nga Opango ka takaro ki Nga Toa o Awherika ki te Tonga.)

3. Smash 'em bro! (Turakina e hoa!)

4. Do you want some glasses, mate? (Kua mahue atu o mowhiti i te taha o to moenga?) How the hell did you miss that forward pass? (I rere whakamua ke te tuku, i hea hoki koe?)

5. No wonder our lineout is crap, the hooker couldn't hit a barn if you put it in front of him! (Mana noa ake te kore e pai o ta tatou rarangi; ahakoa pangaia e te tikape ki te wuruheti o taku papa, e kore e pa ki te pakitara!)

6. I hope the All Blacks didn't eat seafood before the match (only against South Africa). (E, kaua nga Opango e tukua kia kai i te kaimoana)
