Government ministers are to meet Maori worried about a major Central North Island land settlement.
Iwi who are not part of the Affiliate Te Arawa Iwi and Hapu Settlement are concerned about accumulated rentals for deferred purchase land included in the settlement.
The introduction of the package has been delayed while the meetings go ahead with other iwi in the region.
The settlement was the first comprehensive agreement between Central North Island iwi and the Crown when the deed was signed last September.
