Far North iwi Ngati Kahu say their hikoi protesting against the sale of a Landcorp farm which they say should be returned has implications for other iwi claimants.
About 500 Ngati Kahu marched from Awanui down State Highway 1 yesterday and finished in Kaitaia.
The land is estimated to be worth $5 million.
