A Levin woman suffered a terrifying ordeal when two men broke into her home and tied her up at knife-point during an aggravated robbery in the early hours of Monday morning.
The woman was asleep in her Trafalgar Street home and was woken by the intruders at 3.45am.
After tying her up, they demanded property before leaving in her car.
The vehicle has since been recovered by police and a forensic examination conducted, as well as a scene examination at the address.
The woman, who police said was "very shaken" by the incident, was unable to get a close look at the intruders.
