Wellington's Hurricanes are set to take on Japanese Super Rugby team the Sunwolves at Levin Domain next month to kick off the 125th anniversary of Horowhenua-Kapiti Rugby Football Union.
The Sunwolves are coming over to play the 'Canes on Friday night in a Super Rugby fixture in Wellington after their special appearance in Levin on Thursday April 26.
The Hurricanes will be drafting some Kapiti-Horowhenua players into their squad for the Levin game.
On Saturday, May 5 Horowhenua-Kapiti will play Wairarapa Bush at Westpac Stadium in Wellington as the curtain raiser for the Super Rugby match between the Hurricanes and the Lions. In order to allow players and fans to attend this game there will be no club rugby that day.
On Queen's Birthday, Monday, June 4, all the action is back at the Levin Domain for a face off between Horowhenua-Kapiti and a Wellington XV squad.
