Horowhenua Agricultural Day Finals a hit with kids

Ohau School students Violet Hudson, with Iris, who won the Tararua Cup for senior rearing and Zara Westerby, with Lola, who came fourth in caring and rearing.

Horowhenua's Boys and Girls Agricultural Club held its Finals Day on Friday at the Levin Events Centre.

Pupils from Opiki, Tokomaru, Te Horo, Manakau, Koputaroa, Poroutawhao, Ohau, Waitohu schools, and Otaki College participated with their lambs and goats. There were no calves this year because of M bovis.
