Kate Meads, recently called 'New Zealand's Waste-Free Warrior', is coming to Waipā this month to deliver her Waste Free Living workshop.
The workshop — at the Te Awamutu Library on Thursday, March 28 at 6.30pm — helps people to recognise the huge issue of waste in New Zealand and gives them the tools and motivation to lessen waste through simple changes.
Kate has been delivering waste minimisation workshops across the country for more than 10 years.
This month she will be back in Te Awamutu to help residents reduce waste, care for the environment and save money.
Kate believes that you don't have to be an environmental superhero, you just have to do something small that will make a difference.
