The Unpackit Worst Packaging Award, this year decided by a record 15,632 voters, has gone to Countdown - specifically for fruit and vegetables on meat trays and wrapped in plastic.
Rethink Reusable Fresh Produce bags took out the Best Packaging Award.
Chelsea Sugar came in at second place for best packaging with its paper bag, and third place went to Ecostore for its recyclable packaging and refill systems.
Second place in the Worst Packaging Award went to Dell, for the non-recyclable, over-packaging of their computer monitor.
Third place went to Nespresso, for single-serve capsules which cannot be collected for kerbside recycling.
