Pines removed to make way for native bush

Work started yesterday on the removal of 100 pines from the Wattle Bay and Sylvania Esplanade reserves in Auckland City as part of a programme to improve native vegetation along the Manukau Harbour coastline and to encourage native birds and wildlife to return.
