Science fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke has died. The author, who wrote more than 100 books, including 2001: A Space Odyssey, died in Sri Lanka today after suffering from breathing problems.
He was 90 years old and born in Minehead, a small coastal town in Somerset, England.
