Kevin Costner has accused his estranged wife of deliberately prolonging their divorce proceedings.
The Yellowstone actor split from Christine Baumgartner in May after 19 years of marriage. Despite having a pre-nuptial agreement in place, they have been locked in a dispute over issues including finances, child support for their children Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13, and their family home, and now the 68-year-old star has claimed the handbag designer has been doing her best to “delay” the process.
He wrote in court documents obtained by Us Weekly magazine: “Christine has only thrown roadblock after roadblock up in an unjustified effort to avoid answering this discovery.”
Kevin is seeking financial sanctions against Christine for allegedly failing to respond to the discovery requests he sent in May, which he explained were designed to “elicit her contentions as to the validity” of their pre-nuptial agreement.
