1. Anika Moa:
She helped teach prisoners to write songs in Maori TV's Songs from the Inside so she's more than qualified to mentor some reality show contestants locked in a house in Epsom.
2. Dave Dobbyn:

2. Dave Dobbyn:
He's our musical Godfather, and one of the most genial musicians we know. His Yoda-like presence would be a great help in calming the waters on the troubled show.
3. Kimbra:
Natalia kind of stole her haircut, so it's only fair she gets to take her place.
4. Gin Wigmore:
She certainly knows how to deal with the trolls. If we can't get her, then maybe Ginny Blackmore: similar name, she's apparently available, and she's already duet mates with Stan Walker so we know they'll get along.
5. Lorde:
Also knows how to deal with the trolls. And would undoubtedly offer some choice advice about how to cover her songs. Possibly, doesn't the money though.
6. Laughton Kora:
He did a brilliant job of acting like a troublesome frontman in local comedy series Coverband, so he'd fit right in.
7. Boh Runga:
True she said rude things about these shows a few years ago. But it would be worth it, just to see Boh Runga mentor Beau Monga.
8. Ryan and Betty-Anne Monga from Ardijah:
Because they've already done a good job with Beau Monga (their son, who is a contestant). And because this competition so needs another married couple.
9. Jason Kerrison:
He's experienced from his
New Zealand's Got Talent
days and would be a very sensible choice. Very sensible.
10. Russell Crowe:
Sings a bit. Friendly.
