Model wannabes who have so far missed out on becoming New Zealand's Next Top Model might land themselves a third chance to impress the judges.
TV3 has confirmed it is in "talks" with sponsors about the possibility of producing a third season of the model reality show.
"We are in discussions," said a source.
"No decisions have been made but talks are taking place."
The talks are going ahead despite there being more than a month left to go on the second series, currently airing on TV3 on Friday nights.
As planning for a third season is only in the initial stages, any details on potential auditions, or other information, is a long way off being confirmed.
The final for the second season has been confirmed to take place on October 29.
Last week, viewers and models were shocked at the elimination of Nellie Jenkins. Her twin Elza is still in the competition.
This season's show has been filled with drama - from the outcry over 16-year-old contestant Michaela Steenkamp being allowed to be photographed topless, to judge favourite Danielle Hayes punching a hole in the wall.
Last year's New Zealand Next Top Model winner Christobelle Grierson-Ryrie has kept herself busy, finishing off her studies at Auckland Diocesan School for Girls and modelling in New Zealand, New York and Sydney.
