KEY POINTS:
Drummer extraordinaire Billy Cobham, who has played with everyone from Miles Davis and George Benson to Peter Gabriel, has been added to the Womad line-up.
Also confirmed in the extensive programme for the three-day event at Brooklands Park in New Plymouth, starting March 16, are the Tuvan throat-singing group Huun Huur Tu, English DJ-producer Mr Scruff, Iran's Ensemble Shanbehzadeh, Quidams from France, and local dub dance band dDub.
They join headliners Femi Kuti and Gotan Project as well as a raft of local and international acts.
