TMZ got on the blower with Jada's rep, Karynne Tencer, who uttered the immortal line: "What? In Touch said that? I know nothing about this... Lord, I'm going back to bed."
That sounds encouraging.
Another rumour doing the rounds involves an alleged hookup between Jada and her recently separated Hawthorne costar and Jennifer Lopez's soon-to-be ex-hubby, Marc Anthony.
Total tabloid tosh, says Jada's rep (between power naps).
"All the rumors regarding Marc Anthony and Jada are false. Completely untrue. As for [the reports of a split between] Will and Jada, I'm not commenting on their personal life," Tencer tells People.
Adds Anthony's rep: "We unequivocally deny this. Enough is enough. There are families involved, children involved, friendships involved. This is NOT true."
'Divorce is not an option'
Back in 2008, Smith opened up about his marriage during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
"What I found is divorce just can't be an option," he said. "It's really that simple. And I think that's the problem with L.A. - there are so many options. So a huge part of the success for [Jada] and I is that we just removed the other options."
Jada also laughed off speculation that her marriage was in trouble in 2009.
"I've heard all the things - their marriage is not real, he's gay, she's gay, they swing," Jada said. "But at the end of the day, people have to believe what they have to believe. I'll tell you what, it's too hard to be in a pretend marriage. Life's too short for that one."
If there is trouble in paradise, the couple certainly kept it under wraps during a joint interview with Architectural Digest magazine last month.
Smith and his wife opened up the doors of their luxury Malibu home to the magazine, and the seemingly happy family posed for a series of portraits.
Describing the 25,000sq ft home, Jada told the mag: "We wanted to create a family retreat, something made by hand and as natural as possible, something that ties back to the land.
"Whatever it becomes, the craftsmanship will always represent our union and the love of our family."
Update 1: Friends and family members have now spoken out to debunk the Smith breakup reports.
Radar Online quotes a family member, who did not want to be named, as saying: "This is absolutely not true. No way are they splitting up. They are totally together and are not separating."
A source close to the couple also tells Us Weekly the report is "100 percent not true...It's total bulls***."
Smith's son Trey also took to Twitter to trash the split rumours.
"Did #WillandJada split? No they did NOT split! False information ... its not true RETWEET!!!" he wrote.
"Everyone can think what they want ... even if it's not true."
Update 2: Smith and Jada have also piped up and responded to a report that they're separating.
"Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumours circulating about our relationship are completely false," the couple said in a statement. "We are still together, and our marriage is intact."
So there you have it. Stab a fork in that rumour and declare it done.
Goodbye, Norma Jean
Your eyes are not deceiving you; erstwhile Transformers siren Megan Fox's most famous ink job really is on the fade.
Fox has a giant Marilyn Monroe tattoo inked on her right forearm. But she's nuking it, because she doesn't want the late icon's "negativity" rubbing off on her.
"I'm removing it," Fox told Italy's Amica magazine, explaining that she's having laser treatment.
"It is a negative character, as she suffered from personality disorders and was bipolar. I do not want to attract this kind of negative energy in my life."
She added: "Who knows, maybe I'll remove the others too, but the laser hurts."
So why ink herself with the Monroe tatt in the first place? "It warns me not to let myself be treated so badly by the film industry so that it breaks me down," she told Bunte magazine.
Amy Winehouse toxicology results
Late soul singer Amy Winehouse had no traces of illegal drugs in her system when she died, according to her family.
"Toxicology results returned to the Winehouse family by authorities have confirmed that there were no illegal substances in Amy's system at the time of her death," said a statement on behalf of the family.
"Results indicate that alcohol was present, but it cannot be determined as yet if it played a role in her death," the statement continues. "The family would like to thank the police and coroner for their continuing thorough investigations and for keeping them informed throughout the process. They await the outcome of the inquest in October."
A post-mortem examination on the singer, who died in her North London home on July 23, failed to determine a cause of death.
