The roaring (pun unavoidable) success of the Auckland Zoo's concerts over the past few summers has called for a repeat.
Six acts have been announced for the summer line-up, running every weekend from the end of January to the beginning of March.
Wellington eight-piece The Black Seeds open the series on January 29 followed by OpShop who play on February 6.
Anika Moa teams up with Sola Rosa on February 13 and Midnight Youth perform one of the only summer shows in Auckland on February 19.
Straight from New Zealand Hall of Fame, the side-splitting duo The Topp Twins perform on February 28 and the Opensouls and Batucada Sound Machine close the series on March 12.
Proceeds from each three-hour concert go towards conservation projects including saving the Sumatran tiger and Maui dolphin from extinction. All you have to do is sit in the sun and listen to music.
