When Leonardo DiCaprio took the stage to accept his first Oscar - he could have heaped praise on himself - instead he used the platform to speak out about global warming.
After thanking everyone for the award, modestly congratulating his fellow winners and the entire team he worked with, he touched on the big issues.
During the three minute speech he sent an important message about climate change and being kind to the planet.
"Making The Revenant was about man's relationship to the natural world, a world that we collectively felt in 2015 as the hottest year in reported history our production needed to move to the southern tip of the planet just to be able to find snow," he said.
"Climate change is real it is happening now it is the most urgent threat facing our entire species, we need to work together and stop procrastinating..."
