The public is invited to the Navy's HMNZS Canterbury this weekend, and it's all for the good of our nation's children. On Sunday the ship will dock at Princes Wharf, where this year's special cars will then drive on to the wharf as part of Variety's Bash Launch. If the 8am Sunday time-slot is too early, the ship is open to the public on Saturday afternoon too.

THEATRE
One of our most celebrated female actors teams up with a comic favourite to become Bob Geldof: Live. The blatantly misleading title of their show is amusing, with the actual show being far from an ageing philanthropist in concert. The show consists of poetry and stories written and performed by Danielle Cormack, accompanied by Johnny Brugh on guitar.
Bob Geldof: Live - The Basement, Lower Greys Ave, Auckland Central, March 26, 7.30pm
