Watch Dogs
If you had to sum up Watch Dogs, it's Grand Theft Auto with hacking. Players take on the role of Irish vigilante Aiden Pearce in an open world game from Ubisoft in which anything can be hacked - cellphones, security cameras, bank accounts, even traffic lights. A hands-off demonstration at Armageddon showed just how massive Watch Dogs is: Missions can be completed any number of ways, utilising hacking elements for distraction purposes, or going in GTA-style with all guns blazing. Unfortunately, Watch Dogs has been delayed until autumn, but all the signs are there that it will be worth the wait.
Driveclub
A car-racing game for people who hate car-racing games, Driveclub was set to be a PS4 launch title but recently had its release pushed back until early next year. It's a crying shame - the Evolution Studios development utilises social networking unlike any previous racing franchise, with in-game options to manage teams with other players. At an Armageddon demonstration, racing felt fluid, focused and frenetic - and its gameplay felt more fun and freeformed than more serious racing games such as Forza and Gran Turismo. Just don't forget to brake.
