We're so over Tom Cruise, poll finds

Tom Cruise was the Hollywood star Americans were keenest not to see on the big screen in a new poll. About 34 per cent of those quizzed said they would avoid a film featuring Cruise.

Angelina Jolie was next, with 18 per cent uninterested. Mel Gibson scored 15 per cent in the Gallup survey reported by trade magazine Editor and Publisher.

Tom Hanks was favourite among the 13 actors about 1000 people were asked about, followed by Robert DeNiro, Julia Roberts and Will Smith.
