Kiwi comedy duo Flight of the Conchords have announced plans to turn their hit television series into a movie.
The announcement was made by Bret McKenzie, who along with Jemaine Clement helmed two seasons of the homegrown comedy success story, during press events for the upcoming Muppets movie.
"We're gonna try and do a movie. We just need a story," McKenzie was reported as saying by totalfilm.com.
That will be music to Conchords fans' ears after the pair stopped doing the show after just two seasons that ran between 2007-2009.
"We won't be returning for a third season. While the characters Bret and Jemaine will no longer be around, the real Bret and Jemaine will continue to exist," the duo said at the time.
