A star-studded concert is taking place to celebrate diversity in New Zealand, featuring Dave Dobbyn, Debbie Harwood, May Zeng, Suzanne Lynch, Peter Urlich, The Harrop Family and more.
We Are One is being presented by charitable trust Play It Strange and, in recognising diversity, will include artists from the Tourette's syndrome and autism communities.
The event has already enjoyed the success of the We Are One Project in 2016 and Concert for Autism in 2017, and this year's show aims to create awareness and provide opportunities for young students to join the stars on stage.
Play It Strange trust CEO, Mike Chunn says "the We Are One concert has established itself as a truly communal and powerful event, with performances featuring three generations of the one family, Tourette's and ASD musicians, Play It Strange songwriters and iconic NZ artists.
