The first trailer for the all-female heist film Ocean's 8 has arrived.
The trailer introduces a dream-team of women who hatch a plan to infiltrate the Met Gala, aiming to steal a necklace worth US$150 million from a famous actress named Daphne Kluger (Anne Hathaway).
That dream team is lead by none other than Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett, and includes Rihanna, Sarah Paulson, Mindy Kaling, Helena Bonham Carter and US rapper Awkwafina.
The trailer features a nod to the original films - Bullock's character Debbie Ocean can be seen drinking a martini in front of the grave of her brother, Danny Ocean - George Clooney's character in Ocean's Eleven.
Debbie also informs a man played by James Corden that "the whole family" is in the heist business.
