Singing sensation Birdy performed her first ever New Zealand show in a special iHeartRadio event at the intergarden of the Civic Theatre yesterday.
The 17-year-old star pushed through a a fire alarm evacuation to impress a specially selected crowd of fans with a strong mix of originals and covers.
The video team from nzherald.co.nz were there to capture her versions of Bon Iver's Skinny Love, The Naked and Famous' Young Blood and her own lighter-raising anthem Words as Weapons.
