A thousand Foo Fighter fans gathered in Italy to implore their favourite band to visit their hometown, simultaneously covering one of the band's biggest songs.
The video posted on YouTube this week, shows 1000 musicians on a field jamming out a powerful cover of the Foos' 1999 hit Learn to Fly.
The Rockin' 1000 project was founded by Foo fan Fabio Zaffagnini as a way to convince his favourite band to play in the northern Italian city of Cesano - and the resulting video provides a pretty convincing argument.
Shot from a crane, the video shows rows of drum kits, guitarists and vocalists performing the four-minute song in sync, while hundreds more watch on.
