Justin Bieber's publicist insists the popstar's laptop was stolen.
Earlier this week the singer claimed his computer and camera were taken backstage at his gig in Washington, and even though Bieber confirmed it was all a publicity stunt for his new video Beauty and a Beat, his representative has caused confusion with her statement claiming it was real.
Melissa Victor said in an email: "Be very clear, the laptop was indeed stolen in Tacoma. That was NOT a hoax (sic)."
After the alleged theft, twitter user gwexy threatened to release a personal video - and the footage was Beauty and a Beat, the singer's new promo with Nicki Minaj.
Bieber thanked the "hacker" for publishing the video and went on to explain he had created the hoax because he was tired of false stories being created about him.
