- according to a report.
Hold the front page and mark your calendars: The joyous event is said to take place on July 4th,
The Sun
.
July 4th also happens to be Victoria and David's 12th wedding anniversary.
But she won't be welcoming her daughter into the world in Britain as was previously reported. Oh no, Posh will be popping Stateside.
The fashion designer has apparently booked herself in for a Caesarean section at a private hospital near her Los Angeles home. While Posh had preliminarily pencilled in a C-section at London's private Portland hospital, she's now opted for the baby to be born in the US instead.
Why? It's Posh and Becks' way of honouring their four years in the US, claims
The Sun
. Suspend your disbelief and read on...
A source said: "It's going to be a massive family affair in America. While the date hasn't changed, it was decided an LA clinic would be best for the immediate family.
"Vic and David love America, its culture and her people, who have welcomed them with open arms.
"The most important thing is the health of mother and baby and things can always change last minute.
"But if it's possible for the baby to be born on Independence Day, Vic and David will be thrilled."
The newspaper also claims that Posh and Becks have hired a house near the hospital so their relatives can be close by when the baby arrives. Speaking of digs,
the Beckhams will be crashing in post-birth.
And of course, speculation is still rife over what mini Posh will be called. The name
Santa
was previously touted in the tabloids.
"Posh thinks Santa Beckham has a lovely ring to it and wants something unique. David prefers something traditional, but will probably go along with what she chooses," a source said in April.
But browbeaten Becks won't have to. The couple's rep mercifully trashed that report: "This is simply tabloid nonsense."
The Sun
didn't get that memo. It speculates that the couple has shortlisted the name
Atlanta
for their baby girl, "due to the hundreds of thousands of airmiles they have notched up flying across the pond."
A source said: "David wanted a name that was relevant to their lives during the conception."
TMI.
Scrap that. The couple's spokesperson
has also harpooned that gossip
nugget: "It is no secret that Victoria will be having her baby in the US - we will not be confirming the date although early July is correct.
"David and Victoria have a shortlist of names and once they have met their daughter then they will decide - Atlanta is not on that shortlist!"
Any suggestions?
