Movie star Karl Urban has made a cool $1.4 million from the sale of his Herne Bay, Auckland, mansion.
The 42-year-old actor sold the luxury villa he owned with ex-partner Natalie Wihongi for $6.65m after paying $5.25m for it just two years earlier.
Marketing material from Ray White describes the five-bedroom, five-bathroom property as having a "gorgeous master suite with wide harbour views".

On Bella Vista Rd, described as one of Herne Bay's most prestigious streets, the home boasts an expansive living area that opens to wide verandas, superb gardens, the playground and the resort-style pool and cabana.
Urban rose to fame as Shortland Street paramedic Jamie Forrest.
He went on to star in several blockbusters, including two of Sir Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings films, The Bourne Supremacy, and two Star Trek films.
He announced his split from Wihongi, with whom he has two sons, in June this year. The property had a council valuation of $5.9m.
Property records show NBR Richlister Greg Loveridge, general manager and director of Robert Jones Holdings, has bought the property.
Loveridge, who played a solitary test for the New Zealand cricket team, was estimated to have a personal wealth of $52m in the 2104 NBR Richlist.
