Ty Dolla $ign to play three New Zealand shows

Ty Dolla $ign will play three New Zealand shows when he tours next year - and he's bringing a few friends with him.

The rising Los Angeles rap star will perform at Wellington's Shed 6 on January 31, The Bedford in Christchurch on February 1, and Auckland's Logan Campbell Centre on February 2.

Known for his ability to both sing and rap, Ty Dolla $ign will be playing in support of his new mixtape album Campaign.

He has also written and recorded with Kiwi DJ Race Banyon, releasing the song What Are We Doing earlier this year.

Kent Jones, SWIDT and DJ Sir-Vere will play in support at the Christchurch and Auckland shows. Jess B will also appear in Auckland.

Tickets go on sale on Friday at 9am.
