The producers of MTV's Geordie Shore have had a lot on their plates over the past few days, with reports of violence on the set and the unceremonious sacking of cast members.
So it's no wonder one frazzled member of the production team reportedly left a confidential document lying on a table in a cafe on Tuesday.
This was then found by a fan of the show who took to Twitter to upload a photo of the page along with the caption: "Next time your producers go for lunch @mtvgeordieshore make sure they don't leave behind their belongings!"
The scene in question featured cast members Nathan Henry, Marnie Simpson, Abbie Holborn, Zahida Allen and Sarah Goodhart "getting manicures and pedicures".
It instructs whoever is directing the scene to "get some funny chat from Nathan and Marnie informing the newbies that if they are proper Geordies then they need to be properly preened".
It also suggests Abbie "has a funny chat about her tan".
Mostly of note is the instruction to encourage the cast to discuss the "shock exit" of Chloe Ferry - who was reportedly axed from the series at the weekend.
The bullet point script appears to act as a guideline for the scene, listing conversation points to do with Chloe's exit - including a hint that she might very well be coming back.
This may shock some fans of the series having learnt that the 21-year-old was allegedly shown the door after she aggressively lashed out at new housemate Zahida during their first night on the town.
There is also a note about Marnie and Abbie, saying to "watch these two" to make sure they don't discuss Abbie's crush on fellow cast member Aaran Chalmers pointing out that the producers "don't want it coming out here - better at night".
This leak has naturally encouraged a flurry of fix claims online.
"Can't believe Geordie Shore is scripted WTF!" tweeted one distressed fan.
"Has it really taken a leaked script for people to start debating whether or not Geordie Shore is fake?" one skeptical tweeter posted.
However, others didn't seem to see what the big deal was, with one person typing: "It's not actually a script tho is it but how else did you think they make the show (sic)?"
"Fake? It's reality TV so it must be real!" someone else declared.
MTV has declined to comment on the matter when MailOnline reached out to them about the issue.
The upload has led fans to question whether or not Chloe has or has not been let go from the series.
Her removal came to light on Sunday, when a source told The Sun that the reality star began 'kicking the new girl in the head' when she saw her holding hands with her ex Marty McKenna.
