John Travolta and Kelly Preston are reportedly expecting twins.

The couple - whose son Jett died 16 months ago, aged 16 - are said to be "ecstatic" after learning they will welcome two babies into the world.

A source close to the pair told America's Star magazine: "They were ecstatic when they thought they were having just one baby. Now that there will be two, they can barely contain their happiness.

"Kelly's having the time of her life looking at all the cute little outfits and toys online!"

John, 56, and 47-year-old Kelly - who also have a 10-year-old daughter Ella Bleu together - revealed last week that they were expecting a "new addition" to their brood.

John wrote on his official website: "We want to be the first to share this great news with everyone that we are expecting a new addition to our family."

Kelly is thought to be three months pregnant and the couple are said to believe the timing of their new arrival is perfect.

An insider revealed: "Both she and John are absolutely over the moon - they knew in their hearts that the time was right for this to happen."
