A producer on US President Donald Trump's reality show The Apprentice is speaking out against his former star, revealing that it was a full time job making Trump suitable for TV viewers.
Bill Pruitt worked as a producer on seasons one and two of The Apprentice, which Trump hosted for fourteen seasons before his unlikely rise to becoming US President.
In a new interview with NPR, Pruitt said many behind the scenes moments were caught on tape - including some "despicable" outbursts from Trump.
"We recorded constantly. We went into the boardroom to set up discussions about how and who should get fired [on the show] without talking and saying directly who got fired, so there was a big, long exchange, all of which was recorded. Out of those exchanges came some really unfathomably despicable words said by this guy who is a TV star," he said, referring to Trump.
"I heard it. I watched it, and those things are somewhere in some warehouse," he said.
