He was listed as one of Time Magazine's most influential teenagers of 2014, his YouTube channel has four million subscribers (with over 241 million views), he's approaching a billion streams on Spotify, and now 19-year-old Perth native Troye Sivan is coming to perform in New Zealand.
His debut album Blue Neighbourhood was released in December last year, with Sivan in hot demand ever since.
He recently completed a 23-date tour of North America and has made fans out of Taylor Swift, Ellen DeGeneres and local favourites Broods.
The teen, who's been singing since he was a kid and has been a keen Youtube user for years, has had a whirlwind 2016, taking home awards at the YouTube Music Awards, Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, EMA, and just last week scooped up the gong for Outstanding Music Artist at the GLAAD Media Awards.
