Trailer for Magic Mike XXL released

Magic Mike is making a return and, judging from the new trailer, the second film features more muscle than ever.

The sneak peak into Magic Mike XXL starts with a sleeveless and oiled Channing Tatum, Mike in the film, making furniture in a workshop.

Ginuwine's dancefloor classic Pony plays in the background and Tatum is eventually overwhelmed by the groove.

Queue a minute-long montage of debaucherous nightclub scenes featuring ridiculously toned men without body hair, including True Blood's Joe Manganiello.

Tatum recently revealed he waxed to shoot the film, despite promising himself he wouldn't after the first Magic Mike in 2012.

"Matt Bomer (one of the film's actors) goes, 'No, no, you just didn't have the right lady. She just wasn't doing it (waxing) right,"' he said.

"And then I went again, and it sucked just as bad."

He said he feels more pain during a wax because he has shades of ginger in his hair.

"They were like, 'It's always the worst for them (red-haired people),"' he said.

"And I'm like, 'Then why did you start? Why didn't you tell me this beforehand?"'
