Taranaki's Womad festival has announced its first two acts just days before tickets go on sale to the three-day event.
They are South African acappella group Ladysmith Black Mambazo and American singer-songwriter John Grant.
John Grant will perform at Womad 2016.
They're the first acts confirmed for the 2016 event, the festival's 12th year being held fromMarch 18 to 20.
Womad is known for its line-up spanning a range of genres and countries, performing across four stages nestled around New Plymouth's Bowl of Brooklands and Brooklands Park.
