Indie-rock darlings The xx will return to New Zealand in 2013.
The band confirmed on its Facebook page that it would be heading Down Under after enjoying their last trip here at the first New Zealand Laneway Festival in 2010.
"New Zealand! We had so much fun on our Laneway visit two years ago, we're looking forward to coming back next spring to play for you," the trio said.
No dates or venues have yet been announced. The first Laneway festival line-up is due for release on September 26.
The band has just released its second album, Coexist, to mostly positive reviews.
