Making a bone-dry promise to hip-hop fans has backfired for a local promoter, who is offering refunds for this week's Bone Thugs-N-Harmony shows.
The rap veterans, known for '90s hits like Crossroads and Thuggish Ruggish Bone, are scheduled to perform two shows in New Zealand this week: tonight in Christchurch and tomorrow night in Auckland.
Promoters promised all five original members of the Cleveland rap group - that's Krayzie Bone, Bizzy Bone, Layzie Bone, Wish Bone and Flesh-n-Bone - would perform here for the first time.
But that promise has backfired. In a Facebook post today, promoters Talk Later said Flesh N Bone was unable to make the trip, and Layzie Bone would only perform at the Auckland show.
