Brown, the R&B bad boy who has continued making hit records despite trouble in the courts, will perform at Auckland's Vector Arena on December 18 on the back of his latest album, X.
He was last here in 2008 for two sold-out shows with his then-girlfriend Rihanna - a relationship that ended when Brown viciously attacked her in a car in February, 2009.
His plea deal - community labour, five years on probation and domestic violence counselling - caused an outcry.
