Meanwhile, among other acts from south of the Bombays making their way north in the coming weeks are Dunedin hardy perennials the Chills, who are playing at Parnell's Juice Bar at the Windsor Castle on May 31. Martin Philipps and band may possibly be the only act to play the Windsor both in its 80s post-punk venue glory days and its gentrified 21st century incarnation.
And the loudest tour news of the week is the return of veteran Brazilian metallers Sepultura, who kick off a tour of New Zealand and Australia with a show at The Studio on K'Rd on Wednesday, October 1.
