Crooner John Mayer is returning to New Zealand for a one-off show in April.
Mayer - who released his sixth album, the countrified Paradise Valley, in August - will perform at Vector Arena on April 26 as part of a side-show for Australia's West Coast Blues & Roots in Byron Bay.
His opening act will be Grace Potter & The Nocturnals.
Mayer was last here in April 2010, in which TimeOut called his show "impressive and "musical napalm".
In recent years, Mayer has courted as much attention for his high-profile relationships as his music - many of which get turned into songs.
