Hot on the high-heels of releasing their second album 7/27, America's pentagonal girl group Fifth Harmony are coming to New Zealand for their first show, thanks to iheartradio and 2degrees.
The five-piece, who formed during the second season of The X-Factor USA in 2012, recently won Group of the Year at the 2015 Billboard Women in Music awards, and their latest pop hit Work From Home (feat. Ty Dolla $ign).
The song spent two consecutive weeks at #1 on the NZ Top 40 Singles Chart and has had over 552 million views on YouTube. Worth It ft Kid Ink, from their album Reflection, has a mammoth 919 million YouTube hits.
Their slick dance moves and styling have had them compared to the Pussycat Dolls but the girls, Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Camila Cabello and Lauren Jauregui, who are aged between 18 and 22, are more concerned with messages of positive body image, anti-bullying sentiment, and inspiring and empowering teenage girls.
