Ed Sheeran will play a one-off show for free in Auckland later this month.
The British singer-songwriter, who supplied the closing credits song for last year's Hobbit film The Desolation of Smaug, will perform at ASB Theatre on Wednesday, April 30.
The show is the latest in free performances promoted by iHeartRadio, an online radio station that has already hosted shows by Lorde, Birdy and a combined event featuring Jessica Mauboy and Stan Walker.
Sheeran was last here in March for a show at Vector Arena called "lively and joyful" in a Herald review.
It will be his third time performing in New Zealand, and the show comes ahead of his second album called 'x' and due for release in June.
