Iconic New York rap group De La Soul are set to headline two-day New Year's Eve festival Coromandel Gold.
De La Soul, who were last here with Gorillaz in 2010, will perform the headlining slot, alongside Aussie electronic outfit Cut Copy, Dutch drum 'n' bass trio Black Sun Empire and locals Shapeshifter, Kora, Shihad, Fat Freddy's Drop, Katchafire, AHoriBuzz and Sola Rosa.
More acts for the festival, which is held on December 30 and 31, will be announced at a later date. Camp sites are available.
Pre-sales begin on Tuesday here, with general tickets on sale from August 20.
Meanwhile, Far East Movement are coming to the New Zealand for the first time after cancelling a planned visit in February, 2011.
