Cult comedy legend Kevin Smith is heading for our shores.
The writer, comedian, podcaster and film director will present An Evening With Kevin Smith at Auckland's Sky City Theatre on September 17.
Smith found fame with the 90s cult classic film Clerks, which he wrote, directed and acted in as the character Silent Bob.
Other films in his oeuvre include Chasing Amy, Dogma, Mallrats and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.
Hopefully the funnyman will have no trouble getting to New Zealand - in 2010, he was kicked off a flight in the US for being too big for the seats.
