Grammy-winning artist Burt Bacharach is heading to Auckland for a performance with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra.
The 87 year-old American pop composer will perform at Vector Arena on Saturday, November 7.
He'll be playing hits like What the World Needs Now is Love and What's New Pussy Cat? in a two-hour show that will also see Bacharach revealing stories behind some of his biggest songs.
Bacharach has won eight Grammy awards in a career spanning six decades and whose partnership with lyricist Hal David produced pop classics such as Don't Make Me Over, Anyone Who Had a Heart, Walk On By, The Look of Love, Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head among many more.
