Chugg Entertainment said Coldplay's international production manager had promised "that there will be more tickets to release for sale, (although) the exact numbers are still to be determined".
It urged fans across New Zealand and Australia not to buy tickets from scalpers.
"There will be a number of legitimate tickets released in the coming weeks. This ticket release will be announced to the public ahead of time," it said.
Selected tickets for their Auckland show are still available through Ticketmaster.
Elsewhere, Amanda Palmer is returning to New Zealand with Grand Theft Orchestra to perform her new show, Theatre is Evil.
The punk cabaret artist is set to perform an all ages show at Auckland's Q Theatre on January 27, and an R18 show on January 30 at Wellington's San Francisco Bath House.
A pre-sale begins on October 10, with a general release on October 12, through Qtheatre.co.nz and Ticketmaster.co.nz.
Blondie is returning to New Zealand for a one-off show at Auckland's Trusts Stadium on November 29.
Punk rockers The Stranglers will open the show, with tickets going on sale on October 5 through Ticketek.
Lastly, the Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra is heading out on tour with James Hill, who is considered one of the best ukulele players around.
They're playing at Auckland's Q Theatre on February 16 (at 3pm and 8pm), Hamilton Gardens Art Festival on February 17, Royal Wanganui Opera House on February 21, Hawkes Bay Opera House on February 22, Christchurch's Aurora Centre on March 5, Queenstown's Memorial Centre on March 7, Invercargill's Civic Theatre on March 8, Dunedin's Regent Theatre on March 9 and Oamaru's Opera House on March 10.
